Black Swift Monitoring Materials
Western Working Group

The fall 2009 Western Working Group meeting in Forest Grove kicked off the beginnings of this project. The current goal is to begin some sort of westwide effort to inventory this species in 2011. Jason Beason, RMBO, is leading this effort.
At the Reno Meeting, Spring 2012, Jason Beason reported the latest finding from their Black Swift Geolocator project. Their exciting results are in the attached paper from the Wilson Bull. See Beason et al. 2012 below.
