YD:XY, a colour-banded Western Yellow-breasted Chat (Icteria virens auricollis) equipped with GPS logger 40735 by Kristen Mancuso’s PhD team at the ECOmmunity Place Locatee Lands on the Penticton Indian Reserve in 2017, was recaptured in its breeding territory 2018, revealing its migratory path through the intermountain ranges of the Pacific Flyway to its overwintering habitat in the Nayarit region of western Mexico.
