Terry Rich explores the sequence of events and changing attitudes, beginning in 1966, that laid the scientific foundation for Partners in Flight’s launch in 1990. Terry draws on his experience working in bird conservation since 1974 as well as his particular experience as PIF National Coordinator from 2000 to 2014. Terry highlights what has, and what has not, changed in the world of landbird conservation over that time.
